Uba Sani Dismisses APC Governors Forum Crisis Reports

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State and Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Progress Governors Forum, addressed reports of a significant rift within the forum, stating that such claims are exaggerated. He emphasized that the disagreements among members are merely slight misunderstandings.

Sani spoke during a political program on Channel Television, where he confirmed that Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, continues to serve as the chairman of the forum. The discussion arose following allegations that Uzodimma was to be replaced by Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, amidst reports of a split within the forum.

However, a vote of confidence was passed for Uzodimma during a meeting held at the Imo State Lodge in Abuja, which was attended by President Bola Tinubu, who intervened in the disagreements. Sani reassured that leadership changes within the forum are not occurring and that the party remains committed to resolving any issues.
