APC Governors Reaffirm Unity, Support Uzodinma's Leadership

On a recent Friday, governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) convened to reaffirm their unity and support for Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, as the chairman of the Progress Governor Forum. This meeting, attended by 18 governors, was held at the Imo Lodge.

The governors, including those from Ondo, Kaduna, Taraba, Sokoto, Ebonyi, Borno, Lagos, Kogi, Kano, Yobe, Kebbi, Benue, Jigawa, and Nasarawa States, collectively dismissed reports of division within the forum. They emphasized their commitment to the APC and the upcoming elections in January 2027.

The governors moved a vote of confidence in Uzodinma's leadership, with Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani supporting the motion. The meeting aimed to assure party members and the public of their unity and focus on providing necessary social interventions for the Nigerian populace.
