Uzodinma Urges APC Primary Losers to Accept Results

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State appealed to candidates who lost in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections to accept the outcomes and focus on party unity. This appeal was made during a post-primary stakeholders meeting aimed at addressing concerns following the elections.

Uzodinma urged party members to prioritize the collective interest of the APC over individual ambitions, stressing that there are no contests without winners or losers. He called for intensified grassroots mobilization and voter registration efforts in preparation for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.

State chairman Austin Onyedebelu commended members for their peaceful conduct during the primaries and encouraged loyalty to the APC. He noted that future opportunities within the party remain open, and all members should support the party's candidates, including President Bola Tinubu, in the upcoming general elections.
