Wike Criticizes Uzodinma's Actions in APC Leadership

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed his discontent with the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors, particularly targeting Hope Uzodinma, the Imo State Governor and Chairman of the APC Governors Forum. During an interview on Arise News, Wike accused Uzodinma of "doing rubbish" within the party and suggested that the recent objections from APC governors are motivated by their selfish interests rather than genuine concern for President Bola Tinubu.

Wike questioned the timing of these objections, noting they arise just months before the 2027 general elections. He affirmed his support for President Tinubu but clarified that he has no intention of joining the APC, stating, "If I want to join APC, it’s not people like Hope who will tell me to join APC." Wike emphasized that Uzodinma should be grateful he is not a member of the APC, as he would not tolerate Uzodinma's actions.
