Ozigbo Launches Valiant Movement Leadership Summit

On June 13, 2026, Valentine Ozigbo, the founder of the Valiant Movement, convened the first National Leadership Summit at Hotel de Bentley in Abuja. This summit brought together leaders from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to discuss strategies for non-partisan leadership and citizenship development.

The event commenced with a welcome dinner on June 12, which allowed state leaders to build relationships. Ozigbo emphasized that the summit was not a political gathering but rather a platform to address Nigeria's leadership crisis, highlighting the need for civic consciousness and moral courage.

He argued that the nation suffers from a leadership crisis rooted in widespread civic disengagement and corruption. Ozigbo called for a restructuring of governance systems to ensure fairness and efficiency.

The summit featured keynote addresses, including one from Prof. Okei Ikechukwu, who examined the values associated with successful nation-building.

Ms. Aziza Uko, the movement's Director of Strategic Media Communication, also addressed the delegates.
