ValueJet Pilot Ogoyi Recounts Clash With KWAM 1 At Abuja Airport

Suspended ValueJet Airline pilot Capt Oluranti Ogoyi recounted a clash with Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as K1 De Ultimate, at Abuja Airport. The incident led to Capt Ogoyi and Flight Officer Ivan Oloba being suspended by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for violating safety rules.

K1 was barred from flying within Nigeria for six months. Capt Ogoyi explained that K1 refused to verify the content of a gold flask he was carrying, suspected to contain alcohol, which is prohibited onboard aircraft.

The musician became confrontational, causing a delay and safety risk. Airport security intervened, and K1 eventually agreed to comply.

The incident disrupted the flight operation and led to significant delays. The NCAA took action to prioritize safety for passengers and crew.
