Professor Jangargari Secures N25M TETFund Grant for Research

Professor Jangargari, affiliated with the Federal University Dutsin-Ma, has been awarded a N25 million grant from TETFund for a research project titled "Technology for Peace Engagement in Northern Nigeria's Pastoralist Non-Agricultural Livelihood." This project aims to explore technology-driven solutions that provide alternative sources of livelihood for pastoral communities in Northern Nigeria, with the goal of reducing insecurity, particularly related to banditry and kidnapping, which continue to pose significant challenges in the region. The university community has welcomed this development, indicating that it reflects the institution's growing contribution to national development through innovative research.

Professor Jangargari is expected to commence the implementation of this research project under TETFund's National Research Fund program, which supports high-quality research aimed at addressing Nigeria's development challenges.
