Romano Denies Arsenal's Interest in Victor Osimhen Transfer

Fabrizio Romano provided an update regarding Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker currently with Galatasaray, denying any reports linking him to a transfer to Arsenal. Romano stated that Arsenal never engaged in talks with Galatasaray about Osimhen, despite ongoing rumors about the Premier League champions seeking a new forward.

He emphasized that the speculation had no factual basis and that Galatasaray considers Osimhen integral to their plans, with no intention of allowing him to leave. Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2024, has made a strong start to the season, scoring four goals in his first two Super Lig matches against Çorum and Erzurumspor.

Romano noted that the links between Arsenal and Osimhen likely stemmed from discussions involving Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli. As the summer transfer window approaches its end, it appears Osimhen will remain at Galatasaray as they aim to defend their Super Lig title.
