Azeez Adeyemi Assaulted at Ogun NANS Election Event

Azeez Adeyemi, who serves as the special assistant to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on student matters, was assaulted during the Ogun National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) election held at the NLC secretariat in Abeokuta. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday when Adeyemi arrived at the venue for the election.

Eyewitness footage shows that the situation escalated into violence, with Adeyemi being physically attacked by an unknown group of youths. The exact circumstances leading to the altercation remain unclear.

Following the incident, Ogun State Police Command spokesperson Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed that an investigation has been launched into the matter. The video of the assault has since circulated online, prompting further scrutiny of the event.
