Ero-Arike Workers Urge Support Amid Political Backlash

Workers of Ero-Arike herbal balm appealed to Nigerians to maintain their patronage of the product despite negative sentiments towards its owner, Falilat Oyetunji, due to her political activities in the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election. In a video, women identified as beneficiaries and marketers of Ero-Arike expressed their gratitude towards Oyetunji for her support in their lives, stating that she helped them build homes, stock businesses, and educate their children.

They specifically urged various communities, including Hausa and Muslim groups, to recognize the business's contributions to their livelihoods. Oyetunji, the Chief Executive Officer of Olokemeji Nigeria Limited, campaigned for the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who lost to incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke.

Her political involvement has made her a controversial figure, particularly after distributing APC-branded rice and issuing warnings to voters. The workers' appeal comes amid significant backlash against Oyetunji's political stance.
