Fayose Warns Nigerians Against Re-electing Tinubu in 2027

Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has issued a warning to Nigerians regarding the potential re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. He cautioned that if Tinubu is re-elected, fuel prices could soar to ₦5,000 per liter.

Fayose's remarks were made in a video posted on his Facebook page, reacting to promotional posters that welcomed President Tinubu during a recent visit to Lagos State. The posters featured Tinubu alongside his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, and their son, Seyi Tinubu.

Fayose expressed concern over the growing influence of family members in government affairs, describing the inclusion of Tinubu's son in the promotional materials as unusual. He warned that Nigerians risk worsening economic hardships if the current administration is returned to power in 2027, emphasizing that the upcoming elections provide an opportunity for citizens to decide the future direction of the country.

Fayose questioned the government's handling of fuel subsidy removal, stating that earlier promises have not translated into visible benefits for the populace.
