Portable Warns Yoruba Voters to Support Tinubu

Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, a controversial street hop singer, has stirred political tension by issuing a strong warning to Yoruba voters ahead of the next general elections in Nigeria. In a viral video, Portable urged support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election, claiming that those who refuse to vote for him would face spiritual consequences.

He invoked traditional deities, stating that failure to support Tinubu could bring misfortune, particularly to the South West region. Portable emphasized the need for peace, declaring, "We don’t want war," and warned that Yoruba individuals who do not support Tinubu would face divine punishment, saying, "Thunder will strike." He also mentioned that he is actively engaging with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilize support for Tinubu, which includes grassroots campaigns and the distribution of food items to attract voters.
