WAEC Reports 2025 CB-WASSCE Results: 42.17% Pass Rate
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced the results for the 2025 second series of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for private candidates. According to a statement issued by Moyosola F.

The examination took place from November 11 to December 17, 2025, across seven venues: Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Enugu, Uyo, and Kaduna, with the marking of scripts occurring between January 14 and February 3, 2026.
A total of 69,604 candidates registered for the examination, marking an 1.8% increase from the previous year. Among those, 61,943 candidates had their results fully processed, while 3,809 candidates (5.79%) had results pending due to errors.
Performance analysis indicated that 33,989 candidates (51.69%) obtained credits in five subjects without English Language and Mathematics, while 27,727 candidates (42.17%) achieved credits in at least five subjects, including both English Language and Mathematics.
