Malawi's Chawinga Urges Bravery Against Super Falcons

Malawi captain Tabitha Chawinga emphasized the need for her team, the Scorchers, to adopt a brave mindset as they prepare to face Nigeria's Super Falcons in their inaugural Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) match. The game will occur at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat tonight, with kickoff scheduled for 9 PM Nigeria time.

Chawinga, who will lead the attack alongside her sister Themwa, acknowledged the challenge posed by the defending champions, who have won the tournament a record 10 times. She stated that it is crucial for her team to compete without any feelings of inferiority, despite recognizing Nigeria's strength as a footballing nation.
