Super Falcons to Begin Camp in Yaounde for WAFCON 2026

The Super Falcons, Nigeria's national women's football team, are set to commence their training camp in Yaounde, Cameroon, on February 25, 2026. This camp is part of their preparation for a double-header friendly against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

Head coach Justin Madugu has unveiled a squad of 25 players who will travel directly to Yaounde from Nigeria. These friendly matches are crucial as they serve as preparation for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Falcons have been drawn into Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.

The tournament will take place from March 17 to April 3, 2026. In contrast, Cameroon will compete in Group A against Cape Verde, Mali, and Ghana.
