PDP in Lagos Vows to Rebuild and Strengthen Party Unity

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos has vowed to rebuild and strengthen its presence in the state under the leadership of newly inaugurated chairman Amo Fawol. During his inauguration on Friday, Fawol articulated a commitment to restoring public trust in the party and emphasized the importance of unity and discipline among members.

He identified three core priorities for the new executive: rebuilding public trust, strengthening party structures at the ward level, and fostering unity within the party. Fawol described the current political landscape as one of inertia, criticizing the government for failing to meet the aspirations of Lagosians.

He assured party leaders across the southwest and at the national level that the Lagos PDP is prepared to play a strategic role in enhancing the party's influence. Fawol called for patience and resilience among party members, highlighting the need for a disciplined organization to achieve electoral victories, which he stated cannot be secured through rhetoric alone.
