Akpabio: No Miracles, Just Structured Progress for Nigerians

On Friday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, representing President Bola Tinubu, launched a new seven-kilometer road and bridge project in the Federal Capital Territory, connecting Bill Clinton Drive to the Tunga Madaki Settlement. During the event, Akpabio addressed concerns regarding the high cost of living and the removal of fuel subsidies, stating that the administration does not promise miracles but is focused on structured and deliberate progress.

He emphasized that the Renew Hope Agenda aims to improve the lives of all Nigerians, not just economic statistics. Akpabio acknowledged the paradox faced by communities that provided land for the airport's second runway but lack proper road access.

He assured that no citizen would be made a victim of national development and noted that the issue had been brought to the government's attention by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
