NNPP Rejects Atiku's Claim of Membership in ADC Coalition

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) publicly criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for his claims that the NNPP is part of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition. In a statement issued on Thursday, NNPP's national secretary, Ogini Olaposi, clarified that the party is not a member of the ADC and has no plans to join the coalition.

This response follows Atiku's interview on Arise Television, where he listed NNPP as part of the ADC coalition. Olaposi emphasized that the NNPP, particularly its Kwankwasiya movement led by notable figures such as Aham Ajuji and Buba Galadima, does not align with the ADC.

He also mentioned that the ADC's attempts to attract members from the NNPP are misleading, particularly in light of the perceived lack of genuine support during a recent event in Kano where the former governor joined the ADC.
