Mutfwang Discusses Jos Attack with President Tinubu

On March 29, a violent attack in Jos North, Plateau State, led to the deaths of at least 28 individuals and injuries to several others, prompting outrage on social media. In response, the state government imposed a 48-hour curfew in the area.

Following this incident, Governor Caleb Mutfwang visited President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja to discuss the ongoing security challenges in Plateau State. During the meeting, Mutfwang lamented that the government does not know the identities of the attackers and described the assault as an act of terror.

He also mentioned that the curfew had been relaxed on Wednesday, but there were still concerns about hoodlums attacking motorists and commuters, which sparked new panic among residents. President Tinubu is expected to visit Jos on Thursday to address the situation further.
