APC Chieftain Celebrates Kwankwaso's Defection to ADC

Moham Jamo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), celebrated the recent defection of Rabiu Kwankwaso from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserting that this move vindicates the APC's stance. Jamo remarked that the defection demonstrates that the NNPP is no longer a viable platform, particularly in the context of governance in Kano State.

He recalled that Abba Yusuf, the current governor of Kano State, had also exited the NNPP a month earlier, a decision that was met with widespread criticism, especially from members of the Kwankwasiyya movement. Jamo emphasized that the recent developments in the political landscape of Kano State highlight the appropriateness of Kwankwaso's defection at this time, which he believes serves the best interests of governance in the state.
