Enugu Governor Mbah Advocates for Education and Security

Governor Mbah of Enugu State stated that investing in education is crucial to prevent the emergence of criminals. He highlighted the need for advanced security measures, including the use of artificial intelligence and surveillance technology, to monitor the state effectively.

Mbah outlined a vision for Enugu to become a significant economic hub, projecting an economic growth from $4.4 billion to $30 billion over eight years, with a focus on eradicating poverty, which currently affects 58% of the population. He aims to attract three million visitors annually to Enugu, which would require significant improvements in infrastructure, including the airport.

Mbah also mentioned plans for developing major tourism sites, including Africa's longest zipline and a religious tourism site at a monastery. The governor emphasized the importance of creating a secure environment to encourage private sector investment and improve healthcare services.
