Enugu Governor Mbah Awards Scholarships to 760 Students

Dr. Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, has approved a scholarship scheme for the 2025/2026 academic year, benefiting over 760 individuals.

This initiative includes 500 undergraduate students, 100 postgraduate students, and 160 public sector teachers. The Executive Secretary of the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loan Board, Chukwuemeka Mbah, disclosed that the beneficiaries were selected from 17 local government areas across various academic disciplines.

Governor Mbah explained that the success of the candidates was determined through a computer-based test (CBT), and communication regarding the scholarship was conducted via text messages and emails on a local government area basis to verify documents. This scholarship scheme reflects Governor Mbah's unwavering commitment to investing in education and empowering young people, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive the state's transformation agenda.

The Executive Secretary urged successful applicants to promptly respond to messages sent to facilitate the verification process.
