Sam Amadi Claims Judiciary Compromised by Corruption

Sam Amadi, the former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), has made serious allegations regarding the integrity of Nigeria's judiciary, claiming that it has been sold to corrupt politicians. In a post on social media, Amadi recounted an encounter with a female judge who expressed distress over the current state of the judiciary, stating that honest judges cannot thrive in an environment where corruption prevails.

He emphasized that until Nigerians confront and remove corrupt leaders, there will be no future for honest judges in the country. Amadi highlighted the distressing reality that honest judges often face attacks and are sidelined, leading to a situation where they feel they cannot pursue the truth without jeopardizing their careers.

He concluded that the judiciary has been compromised, and the only way forward is to overthrow the corrupt elements that dominate the system.
