PCYF Backs Rev Dachomo Amid Threats from Muslim Leader

The Plateau Christian Youth Forum (PCYF) has publicly supported Rev Ezekiel Dachomo, an outspoken clergyman, after he received threats from a Muslim leader due to his controversial remarks made during a recent mass burial in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. The remarks, which were perceived as incendiary, drew condemnation from various quarters, including Islamic scholars and Muslim groups, who warned Dachomo to cease comments that could incite violence between Christians and Muslims in the region.

The PCYF, led by coordinator Marku Malum, condemned the threats against Dachomo and emphasized that any harm to him would result in accountability for the Muslim leader. The group also called on state security agencies to provide 24-hour protection for Dachomo, highlighting the fragile peace in Plateau State and the need for harmony among different religious groups.
