PAN Launches Nationwide Vaccination Campaign for Rubella and Measles-Free Nigeria

The Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN) aims for a rubella and measles-free Nigeria through a nationwide vaccination campaign targeting 106 million children. The initial phase focuses on 20 northern states and Oyo State, with a second phase for southern states starting in January 2026.

Dr. Foluso Balogun, a consultant paediatrician, leads the initiative in Oyo State, emphasizing the importance of protecting pregnant women from rubella complications.
