Chiamaka Nnadozie, the goalkeeper for Nigeria's women's national football team, has called on fans to remain supportive after a challenging start to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Following a surprising 3-2 defeat to Malawi, where Nnadozie conceded three goals, she rebounded with a clean sheet in a crucial 1-0 victory over Zambia.

This match was particularly significant as Nigeria played with 10 players after Tosin Demehin received a straight red card in the 40th minute. The victory revived the Super Falcons' hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals.
