Wike Urges FCT Residents to Reject Political Deception

Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State, made a significant statement on Wednesday regarding the political landscape in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). During a visit to stakeholders in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Wike urged residents to be cautious and not allow politicians to deceive them again.

He emphasized the importance of fulfilling promises and stated that residents should not provide excuses for political failures. Wike's remarks were made in the context of the upcoming area council elections scheduled for February 21, where he called for support for President Bola Tinubu.

He also requested that the FCT Minister engage with residents to ensure their concerns are addressed, highlighting the need for accountability in governance.
