Dalung Challenges Defence Minister Over El-Rufai Genocide Claim

Former Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has publicly challenged the Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, to substantiate his claim that former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, is behind the genocide in Southern Kaduna. Musa made this assertion during a recent interview, linking the extensive killings in the predominantly Christian area to El-Rufai.

In response, El-Rufai's family issued Musa a seven-day ultimatum to provide evidence or retract his statement. Dalung, appearing on Channels Television’s Inside Sources, criticized Musa for politicizing the killings and questioned the appropriateness of discussing such a serious allegation on national television.

He insisted that Musa must provide evidence to justify his claims, stating that failure to do so would pose a significant threat to leadership in Nigeria, as it could lead to arbitrary branding of individuals as terrorists.
