West Ham United Signs Striker Valentin Castellanos from Lazio on Long-Term Deal

West Ham United has completed the signing of striker Valentin Castellanos from Lazio on a four-and-a-half-year contract with an option for an extra year. Castellanos, 27, has had a successful spell in Italy, making 98 appearances for Lazio and scoring 22 goals.

The Argentine forward, known as "Tati," has also played in Major League Soccer for New York City FC and in Spain for Girona. West Ham's head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, identified Castellanos as a priority target during the January transfer window.

This signing follows the earlier acquisition of Brazilian forward Pablo Felip from Gil Vicente. West Ham, currently 18th in the Premier League table, aims to improve their goal-scoring momentum with these additions.
