Tinubu Values Nigerian Feedback, Says Minister Idris

On Tuesday in Abuja, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, revealed that President Bola Tinubu places significant importance on the opinions of Nigerians regarding government policies. During a courtesy visit from a delegation of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), led by Director-General Prof. Ayo Omotayo, Idris noted that Tinubu's first question in meetings is often, “What are Nigerians saying?” This indicates the President's dedication to understanding public sentiment and making necessary policy adjustments.

Idris emphasized that governance under Tinubu is a dynamic process, where public feedback is actively sought and considered. He further explained that his ministry employs a bidirectional communication system, ensuring that government decisions are communicated to the public while also relaying citizens' perspectives back to the government.

The renewed focus on national orientation has enhanced the government's ability to gauge public sentiment at the grassroots level.
