Nwobodo Challenges Amaechi on Achievements as Minister

Toni Nwobodo, an APC chieftain, publicly challenged Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport, to account for his achievements during his eight years in office. This challenge occurred during a visit to the Enugu South local government chairman.

Nwobodo criticized the current administration for the rising property values and argued that the Southeast region would make a significant strategic error if it did not support Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections. He warned the people of the region against allowing sentiment to dictate their voting decisions.

Nwobodo also addressed concerns regarding increased taxation, highlighting his experience living abroad for three decades and pointing to visible infrastructure as justification for tax levies. His remarks underscore the political dynamics and the importance of strategic voting in the context of the upcoming elections.
