Seriake Dickson Critiques OK Movement's Rivalry in Politics

Senator Seriake Dickson, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), criticized the OK Movement, stating that support groups affiliated with political parties should not function as rival entities. During a reception for former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, Dickson asserted that support groups are meant to assist political parties and their candidates, not to compete for influence or control.

He emphasized that these groups should focus on grassroots mobilization and promoting the party and its candidates. Dickson described the actions of the OK Movement as "nonsensical" and "unheard of," asserting that support groups should not attack or undermine the political parties they are associated with.

He reiterated that the NDC has always been open to various support groups and has held discussions with groups like the Obidient movement, welcoming more collaborations to strengthen the party's electoral efforts.
