Lagos CP Calls for Transparency in Constable Screening

Olohundar Jimoh, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, has called for transparency in the screening of police constable applicants. This statement was issued on Monday through the command's spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi.

The screening is part of a nationwide recruitment effort to enlist 50,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force. Jimoh stressed that the exercise must adhere strictly to approved guidelines and core values of the recruitment process.

He noted that the screening team, which includes police officers and personnel from the police service commission, is committed to ensuring a credible and smooth process. Jimoh warned applicants to be wary of fraudsters who may demand money to influence the screening process.

He outlined the necessary documents applicants must present, including an invitation slip, identification numbers, certificates, and a guarantor form, urging compliance with the guidelines to facilitate a successful screening exercise.
