Speaking at a gathering where party loyalists endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for a second term in 2027, Barau highlighted the APC's deep grassroots reach and strong governance record as crucial factors for maintaining national leadership.

He stressed the importance of performance over sentiment, pointing to progress in infrastructure, healthcare, security, and education as evidence of the party's effective administration.
