Odumodublvck Discusses Age Falsification in Music Industry

In a livestream with streamer Enzo, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, addressed the prevalent issue of artists falsifying their age within the Nigerian music industry. He explained that many upcoming artists often reduce their age to enhance their chances of securing record deals and partnerships.

This trend, according to Odumodublvck, is driven by the perception among investors and record labels that younger artists possess better long-term commercial potential. He noted that this pressure subtly influences artists to present themselves in a manner that aligns with industry expectations.

Despite this trend, Odumodublvck stated that he has chosen not to succumb to such pressures, focusing instead on his craft and authenticity. He mentioned that he is currently 32 years old and does not concern himself with age-related expectations in the industry.
