Prof. Usar Announces Candidacy for Gwer/Gwer West Seat

Prof. Iornumb Joseph Usar, a member of the Progress Congress APC, has declared his intention to contest for the Gwer/Gwer West House of Representatives seat in Benue State.

He articulated his commitment to providing quality and credible representation, responding to the aspirations of the people in his constituency. Usar, who specializes in health economics and health policy at the university level, expressed that the constituents deserve better representation and informed choices during the upcoming general elections.

He pledged to support the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the importance of effective leadership to attract federal projects and ensure the delivery of democratic dividends. Usar condemned political violence and stressed the necessity for democracy to allow citizens to exercise their constitutional rights without intimidation.
