Otti Supports Tinubu's Re-Election Bid, Stresses Unity

In a monthly media chat held on Friday, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State expressed that he sees no reason to oppose President Bola Tinubu's bid for re-election. Otti highlighted the importance of cooperation among federal, state, and local governments, asserting that disagreements should be resolved within the democratic framework.

He cautioned against framing political positions along party lines, which could create unnecessary tension. Otti reaffirmed his commitment to the Labour Party, indicating that internal issues would be resolved following a Supreme Court decision.

He acknowledged the preparations for the national convention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and emphasized the need for a united approach in governance.
