APC Chairman Yilwatda Promotes Unity in Kano Politics

On Thursday, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited a senior figure associated with Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former ally, to promote peace and unity in Kano State.

The discussions focused on the need for political leaders to collaborate for the benefit of the people, despite belonging to different political parties. Yilwatda emphasized that political differences should not hinder cooperation aimed at serving the citizens' welfare.

This visit comes amid reports of strained relations between Sai Hanga and Kwankwaso, particularly following public remarks made by Hanga regarding dissatisfaction with the APC's governorship ticket allocation to Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, which Kwankwaso allegedly considered for his son, Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The dialogue aimed to foster a constructive environment for political stability in Kano State.
