Ighalo Wishes Osimhen Joined Al-Hilal Last Summer

Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo revealed in an interview with Winwin that he wished Victor Osimhen had accepted a move to Al-Hilal, a Saudi football club, during the last summer transfer window. Al-Hilal reportedly submitted an official bid of €70 million to SSC Napoli for the Nigerian forward, but the deal did not materialize, leading Osimhen to join Galatasaray instead.

Ighalo, a former Manchester United forward, acknowledged that while Osimhen made the right decision for his career, he would have loved to see him play for the Saudi Pro League giants. He noted that Galatasaray is one of the biggest clubs in Turkey and regularly competes in the UEFA Champions League.

Ighalo expressed admiration for Al-Hilal and hopes that Osimhen might consider a move there later in his career.
