Bashir El-Rufai Vows to Never Forgive APC for Family Attack

Bashir El-Rufai, the son of former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has publicly stated that he will never forgive the All Progressives Congress (APC) for what he perceives as an attack on his family during a vulnerable time. In a post on X, he emphasized that even if his father were to emerge victorious from his current challenges and choose to forgive his political adversaries, he would not follow suit.

Bashir expressed a determination to acquire political power specifically to confront those he accuses of attacking his family, stating, “Friend or foe, it won’t matter.” He also noted that only Mahmud Ribadu, whom he identifies as his biological brother, would be spared from his wrath. This declaration comes amid a public disagreement with his brother, Bello El-Rufai, a member of the House of Representatives, over undisclosed family issues and apparent sibling rivalry.
