Baba-Ahmed Critiques Tinubu's Policies on Northern Rights

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the National Chairman of the People Redemption Party (PRP), accused President Bola Tinubu of relinquishing the rights of the North to the Southwest without facing any opposition from northern leaders. In an interview on Symfoni TV, Baba-Ahmed stated that the lack of resistance from the North is due to the alignment of northern leaders with Tinubu.

He expressed concern over the ongoing violence and killings in various northern states, criticizing the 18 northern governors who support Tinubu as detrimental to the region. Baba-Ahmed lamented that there is no one to challenge Tinubu regarding the adverse effects of his policies on the North, noting that out of the 32 governors in the All Progressives Congress (APC), 18 are from the North, with only the Bauchi state governor not in the APC.

He questioned who would confront Tinubu about the issues affecting their region.
