Fintiri Urges Northern Leaders to Stop Blaming Tinubu

During the Adamawa stakeholders’ engagement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday in Yola, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State called on northern leaders to cease blaming President Bola Tinubu for the insecurity affecting the region. Fintiri challenged these leaders to take responsibility for the issues at hand and seek lasting solutions instead of engaging in blame games.

He referenced past accusations against former President Goodluck Jonathan regarding Boko Haram, stating that the insurgents are primarily from the North. Fintiri asserted that Tinubu has not disadvantaged Northern Nigeria since taking office and criticized northern leaders for failing to provide good governance.

He also addressed the economic situation, claiming the Tinubu administration has made significant progress. Furthermore, Fintiri urged APC stakeholders to mobilize support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections, asserting that no individual would rig the elections in Adamawa.
