Northern Women Ulama Endorse Tinubu for Re-election

On Sunday, Governor Uba Sani announced that the Northern Nigerian Women Ulama endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term due to his record of achievements and inclusive governance style. This endorsement was made during a stakeholders’ engagement at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Conference Centre, which included delegates from all 19 northern states.

Sani emphasized that the endorsement was based on Tinubu's contributions to Nigeria, particularly in education, infrastructure, healthcare, and agriculture. He highlighted that the president's investments in education, including skills-based education through the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), have significantly benefited Northern Nigeria, with over 60% of the support directed to the region.

The event was organized by Ibrahim Masari and attended by several dignitaries, including governors from Gombe, Yobe, and Borno states, as well as federal ministers.
