Tinubu's Administration Advances Southeast Infrastructure Projects

The collaboration between the Federal Government and state governments in Nigeria is essential for effective infrastructure development. During a recent media tour, President Bola Tinubu's administration showcased three significant projects in the Southeast, emphasizing the importance of strategic partnerships.

Notable projects include a 23-span flyover bridge at the Ek Obinagu junction along the Enugu-Abakaliki expressway, costing N25.3 billion, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion. The project complements the dualization of the 21.5-kilometer Enugu-Abakaliki highway.

Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru announced the construction of the Ezillo-Ezzaegu road, while Abia State Governor Alex Otti intervened to provide a bridge across the Asaga area of Ohafia. Additionally, President Tinubu approved the concession of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport to revive its moribund international wing, a significant step towards enhancing aviation infrastructure in the region.
