Justice Crack Remanded Over Viral Army Feeding Video

On April 28, 2026, Justice Chidieber Mark, popularly known as Justice Crack, was ordered to be remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) by Justice Joyc Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja. He faces three counts of charges related to alleged cybercrime stemming from a viral video that criticized the Nigerian Army's inadequate feeding of its personnel.

The charges include circulating false information capable of causing public unrest, which is a violation of Section 24(1)(b) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015 (as amended). The DSS alleges that Mark's actions led to widespread negative reactions and fear of a breach of peace.

The case has been adjourned until May 25, 2026, when a possible bail application will be heard, and he remains in custody pending the determination of the case.
