NNPP Official Rejects Privatization Claims by Tinubu

Ogini Olaposi, an official of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), articulated the party's refusal to privatize, countering President Bola Tinubu's insinuations regarding political party privatization. Olaposi criticized the actions of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, who allegedly attempted to hijack the NNPP without the knowledge of its founder.

He raised concerns about the unauthorized changes to the party's logo and symbol, questioning how such alterations could occur without proper certification from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Olaposi warned that this situation could lead to significant issues for democracy in Nigeria, urging President Tinubu to closely monitor INEC's operations to prevent further complications.

He also mentioned that the party is committed to resolving internal disputes through legal mechanisms and emphasized the importance of maintaining trust within the party amidst ongoing challenges.
