Explosion at TCN Facility Causes Power Outage in Anambra and Enugu

An explosion at a Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) facility in Anambra caused a widespread power outage in Enugu and Anambra states. The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) confirmed the blackout and stated that efforts were underway to restore power.

In a separate incident, two men were arrested in Katsina State for allegedly vandalizing a TCN tower. The suspects were caught dismantling components of the tower, leading to their arrest by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
