Bode George Critiques Wike's Role in PDP Instability

Bode George, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the current Nigerian administration of contributing to instability within opposition parties in the country. In an interview on Tuesday, George expressed concerns about the weakening of the opposition, which he believes has serious consequences for democracy in Nigeria.

He highlighted recent developments involving the PDP's national secretariat and criticized the role of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, in these issues. George questioned the legitimacy of the reconciliation efforts suggested by Wike and dismissed claims of unity within the PDP, asserting that there are ongoing efforts to undermine the party's cohesion.

His statements were made during a meeting of the PDP's National Executive Council (NEC), where he emphasized the need for a united front against the current government's actions.
