Governor Wike Donates 12 Ambulances to FCT Hospitals for Improved Emergency Healthcare Services

Governor Wike of Rivers State donated 12 new ambulances to FCT hospitals in Abuja as part of efforts to enhance emergency healthcare services. The handover ceremony highlighted the commitment of the FCT administration to improve healthcare delivery, especially in addressing urgent life-threatening situations.

Wike emphasized the importance of good road infrastructure for efficient emergency response. Additionally, the FCT administration has rehabilitated and furnished 14 health centers across the territory.

Dr. Olalodipo Fasaw, the head of the FCT Health Services, described the ambulances as a major step towards improving emergency healthcare in the territory.

The FCT administration is also focusing on people-centered governance and initiatives to upgrade the welfare of healthcare workers, including addressing outstanding allowances dating back to 2021.
