Wike has no business in Rivers’ governance – Annkio Briggs

Human rights activist Annkio Briggs has stated that Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has no place in governing Rivers State after completing his tenure as governor. Briggs made these comments during an interview on the Arise Television Morning Show, where she criticized recent political developments in the state, including the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Briggs emphasized that such actions are illegal and unconstitutional, and the Constitution should be upheld in Rivers State. She also expressed her belief that Wike's suspension was actually an attempt to remove him from office.

Briggs urged for peace in the state and for the people of Rivers to accept a peaceful resolution. She concluded by stating that Wike has no business in the governance of Rivers State, as he has already served as governor for eight years.
